Fr. Slavko's Commentary

Fr. Slavko Barbaric resides in Medjugorje, and has been involved with the visionaries and apparitions taking place there for many years. He regularly gives talks to visiting pilgrims, and has written numerous books about the messages of Medjugorje. He also writes a monthly commentary about the monthly messages that are given to us by Our Lady on the 25th of each month, and provides excellent insight into these messages by dissecting and discussing each phrase of the message, helping us to better understand and live these messages.

Announcement - Fr. Slavko suddenly passed away on November 24, 2000. We will miss him greatly and were moved and inspired by his insightful commentaries throughout the years. We can all be comforted by Our Lady's monthly message a day later which stated: "I rejoice with you and I desire to tell you that your brother Slavko has been born into Heaven and intercedes for you."

For the immediate future, Fra Ljubo Kurtovic, will take over writing the monthly reflections on Our Lady's messages which Fra Slavko began.
