Travel to Medjugorje with Medjugorje Web Pilgriamges. For those of you who have never been to Medjugorje, you will experience one of the most spiritual, and peaceful places on earth. One of the best descriptions of Medjugorje we have ever heard is: "Medjugorje is a place where Heaven touches the earth". After visiting Medjugorje we are sure you will agree.

What sets us apart from other pilgrimage providers is either Ana or myself travel with most groups we send to Medjugorje. Although we are not able to travel with every group we provide expert planning and give you detailed information to help take the worry out of traveling and allow you to relax and focus on what Our Lady has planned for you. We believe that this is a big factor in the enormous success and satisfaction we have on all our trips to Medjugorje.

We arrange for excellent accommodations at Vicka's relatives (schedule permitting); Mirjana, Stipe, Ante, and Vicka's Mothers house in Medjugorje, and will be providing a full and complete itinerary of events throughout the trip. Our local guide, Snjezana Zovko, from Medjugorje will be assisting us, and for groups of 20 and more we do our best to have a Catholic Priest with us as our Spiritual Director. Medjugorje Web Pilgrimages Include:

Round-trip flight from the United States to Frankfurt on Lufthansa, United, Delta, US Air, and Northwest/KLM Airlines, and Split on Croatia Airlines. Transfers by private motorcoach.

Our Basic Itinerary:

Day 1 US - Europe
Depart the US for our overnight flight to Frankfurt. Dinner and breakfast are served on board.

Day 2 Europe - Split - Medjugorje
Upon early morning arrival in Frankfurt, we will connect with our 1.5 hour flight to Split. Upon arrival, we will be greeted by our local guide Snjezana Zovko and our driver who will then take us on the 3.5 hour ride by private motorcoach to the village of Medjugorje. Once there, we will be introduced to the family where we will be staying for the next seven nights.

Days 3-8 Medjugorje
The beauty of this simple village is enhanced by the opportunity to share our faith with thousands of pilgrims from all over the world. Our local guide Snjezana will accompany us throughout the week, and help plan our daily activities. Each evening at dinner we will post a schedule for the following day on our dining room door. Just some of the activities we will do throughout the week are:

Each morning at 10am we assemble at St James Church for English Mass. On Feast days and Sundays English Mass is at Noon.

We will follow the same path up Apparition Hill where the young visionaries first encountered Our Lady. Pray before the statue which commemorates the spot where Our Lady first appeared to the visionaries. We will also visit and pray at "Blue Cross", which is a very special place at the base of Apparition Hill.

At 5pm each evening (6pm daylight savings time) we will join the villagers and pilgrims to pray the rosary. Be present in the church during the time of the apparitions at 5:40pm (6:40 daylight savings time) (although the visionaries are not present) and then stay for the Croatian Mass and the Blessing of the Sick. Thursdays and Saturdays there is Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and on Fridays Veneration of the Cross in the church.

Depending upon schedule and availability, our local guide will arrange meetings with the visionaries at their own homes. We will also visit the beautiful adoration chapel of the Oasis of Peace, and the drug rehab center Cenacolo.

We will have the opportunity to climb Krizevac Mountain, where in 1933 the villagers built a 30' high cross on the anniversary of Jesus' crucifixion. This Cross contains a relic from the actual Cross of Christ given to the villagers by the Pope.

Contingent upon his schedule, we will visit Father Jozo's parish and attend his highly inspirational talk. When the apparitions began in 1981, Father Jozo was the pastor of St James parish, and is considered by many to be the highlight of a pilgrimage to Medjugorje.

Day 9-10 Medjugorje - Split - Europe - USA
After an early breakfast and heartfelt farewells, we leave by motorcoach for Split Airport for our flight to Frankfurt. We typically overnight there, depending upon the time of year, and will then connect with our return flights back to the US the next morning. If we overnight in Frankfurt we will return to the US one day later than indicated by the trip dates.
