A MOVIE CALLED "GOSPA"

Surely you have already heard that a movie called "Gospa" has been made. The croatian writer, Ivan Arali}a, wrote a "rich" story inspired by the events of Medjugorje. The director is Jakov Sedlar. The main intention of the film is to show the spectator how the apparitions with Our Lady, Queen of Peace started. On the 24th of June, 1981, the final battle against evil began. It is led by her, of whom the Book of the Apocalypse speaks: "A woman clothed with the sun, with the crown of twelve stars around her head and the dragon at her feet" will conquer the evil one.

The whole power of hatred and violence was let loose against the parish priest at that time and the 6 visionaries who gave witness to the presence of the Queen of Peace. On one side were the military forces, helicopters, arms, false testimonies, screaming, noise, and threats. On the other side were repeated "Aves", an interior drama of the priest, Fr. Jozo Zovko and the visionaries. They, together with the people free themselves of free to give witness and in the end, they triumph.

The apparitions of Medjugorje are the beginning of the end of a dark page in the history of the Croatian people. During WW II and some time afterward, 601 priests and numerous other victims were lost. This was from such a small nation as Croatia. The movie is dedicated to them.

Dear Friends! The time of Our Lady's coming is a prophetic intervention of God in our history. The movie will help all to understand more the profound powers of darkness which proved themselves to atheism. It also shows the inhumanity in a particular way during the Communist regime. It also projects the hope which God gives to those who believe and walk with Our Lady, Queen of Peace, toward a new world. We hope that you watch it and invite others to do the same.

The promotion of the movie will take place on April 10th, 1995, in the Radio Music Hall in New York City. Afterwards it will be presented in 450 cinemas all over the United States. The money made from the promotion will go towards the poor of New York and Croatia. Among the numerous prelates and important dignitaries, the mayor of New York will also attend.

THE SITUATION IN THE DIOCESE OF BANJA LUKA

The Bishop of Banja Luka, president of the Commission for the Events of Medjugorje, Mons. Franjo Komarica, has hardly any faithful left. Catholics of Croatian ethnicity were systematically expelled from their homes by means of "ethnic cleansing". Three hundred seventy Croatians were killed, 140,000 are refugees, 1 priest died, one is missing and one died after spending some time in a Serbian camp. Because of the disastrous situation in his diocese, Mons. Franjo Komarica transformed the Chancery Office into a center for Charity activities. The numbers who daily knock at his door seeking help due to the scarcity of medicine, food, electricity and gas are countless. Factories are closed and the people find help in public kitchens. The situation is truly disastrous and therefore the Bishop continues to ask for help of all kinds for his suffering and forgotten people. Help reaches Banja Luka via Zagreb.

IVAN'S PRAYER GROUP

The prayer group guided by Ivan Dragicevic} meets twice a week. During those encounters, OurLady sometimes gives a message through Ivan which is only for the group.

On the 25th of every month, Our Lady gives her message of Peace to the world through the visionary, Marija Pavlovic-Lunetii.
