About the Medjugorje MIR Center
Our main goal at the Medjugorje MIR Center is to share Christ's Love with as many people as we can. Our first priority is to spread Our Lady's message and to help people live Her call of conversion, peace, prayer, fasting, love, and hope.
We are a non-profit organization partially supported though our religious book and gift store, which is also non-profit as it is a part of the Medjugorje MIR Center. When you buy books and gifts at the Medjugorje MIR Center you help support the following causes:
- The International Godpartenthood Association in the USA--Sending aid to children in Croatia and Bosnia who have lost one or both parents in the war. 1046 children receive aid each month through the Medjugorje MIR Center.
- Love One Another Project--For refugees and families in need--$4000. Helping orphanages financially: St. Theresa's orphanages in Zagreb, Croatia--$8100 and Mother's Village in Medjugorje--$500.
- Pilgrimages to Medjugorje, Rome, Fatima, Lourdes, and the Holyland--In 1997 eight pilgrimages with over 400 pilgrims escorted to Medjugorje and other Marian shrines and t the Holy Land.
- Midwest Marian Peace Conference--Providing spiritual renewal by inviting speakers and musicians from the US and around the world who share their Catholic faith. The 1997 conference had around 3,000 people in attendance.
Unfortunately, our books and gifts store does not cover all our administration expenses. In order for us to respond to Our Lady's call and to continue this mission, we need your help. Specifically designated for the Center as all other donations received are earmarked to be distributed to the projects listed above.
We want to continue to be Our Lady's apostles. We can do this only with your financial help. "We are one body in Christ." As Our Lady said in Her message of November 25, 1996, "If with your life you give an example and become a sign of God's love, joy will prevail in the hearts of men."

Our purpose is to let all of you know about the mission of the Center. If you can help us to defray the cost of printing and mailing, it would be deeply appreciated with our prayers and the daily Rosary prayed for you and your family's intentions. Your intentions will be placed on the altar of our chapel and we will petition for you on a daily basis.
