These Peace Chaplet Rosaries are handmade in Medjugorje from rocks from Apparition Hill (Podbrdo) by a family that suffered death and destruction of their home during the war in 1991-1994. These rosaries are their only means of income. The peace rosary has been a long tradition in Croatia and has been prayed by families for generations. It is said by praying the Creed and then 7 Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be's. When Our Lady first appeared in 1981, she told the visionaries that she would like them to continue praying this prayer. It is still prayed at the end of Mass each evening in Medjugorje.
